To Each His Own a Changing Course
After founding the Nashville-Based rock band "Without-Excuse", the lead singer decided to not shy away from the roots of all his music. "Then the Artist" is a solo side project Ryan started to get back to where his music all began, with an acoustic guitar and a microphone.
Back before there was full band drums, electric guitar solos, and booming bass lines, there was a few simple yet creative guitar progressions and a whole lot of coffee shop shows. Hitting up every open mic in town, every chance to play through college, the "coffee house" scene of music was intoxicating and down to earth. Getting back to the more stripped down sound, Then the Artist should grab the attention of all genres.
